I want a larger more aggressive tire for the 500i and I'm trying to decide what size and tire. How big can I fit without lift? Should I get spacers? What tires? I want to keep a decent trail ride but need something good in mud, I'm leaning toward 589's, gators. or mud bugs.

Would you run 27x11's all the way around? or would it make steering too hard?

You can get any tire you want without worrying about a lift kit. Now for trail use I would recommend the Titan 589 and go as close to stock as you can. If you want a more mud type tire then go for the Hilifter Radial Outlaws, they give a nice ride and go through alot more mud than a Titan will. Staying close to stock will let you keep some much needed power but still give you way more traction than stock tires.

I imagine the Mudrunners are comparable to the Titans, it really depends on the type of mud you drive in. Mud is not universal, some tires clog up while some don't in certain types of mud.

Thanks for the replies.

Ordered the 26" Gators tonight and a set of 1" spacers to widen it a bit. Also have AC front a rear bumpers on the way.
