Hi,
I just bought a Arctic Cat 375i and was wondering if a Fram oil filter can replace the stock filter on the machine? If so , which Fram filter number is the one to use?
Thanks , FlatTire
ps any 375i owners? share your comments...

Flattire,
Congratulations on the new Cat, the 375 isn't an i model it's an ACT. How do you like yours so far?

Oil filter info:
FRAM 6018
Purolator 16818
WIX 51359
STP SMO-18
Thanks to Newcatman for posting this info a while back.

I just got mine back from the dealer. They said there was a fastener of some sort in the tranny that had backed off and become loose, causing some noise. I'm getting ready to hit the trails today. Man did I miss that machine. My Polaris is nice, but it doesn't have the power or suspension of that cat! It may be softly sprung and have some roll, but nothing, and I mean nothing, keeps the wheels on the ground on gnarly terrain like that Cat. I won't trade the smoothe ride or articulation for less body roll. Just my O.

Hi TG1,
Thanks for the info on the filters. I can get Fram filters for about $6.00 insted of the almost $12.00 for a Arctic Cat filter. I think Fram will do just as good a job as the A-Cat filters. Today was the first ride on the machine and I think I'm gonna like this a bit to much.... I'm still in the break-in mode... You have one? 375?? Is there a place on the net that has good prices on accessories for Arctic Cat ? Well, thanks again for the info !

I'd check Rocky Mtn, maybe Shade Tree everything one mine came from the dealer (except for the GPS mount). Blackmagic is working on Cat ATV performance parts.

I got a Garmin eTrex and the mount is for Bikes but it works well on the front rack.

The fram filter is a PH6018 and the STP which is a better filter is an SMO18 Both can be picked up at your local Auto Zone for about $4.50-5.50.
