My son has an AC90. It is a great machine. All minis need a little work to make them safe and fun. We made some nice mods to it and now it screams and is very safe. The front is 6" wider and the rear is 4" wider. It is as wide as an adult quad now and sits very low. The problem with the mini quads are their stance is very narrow and they tip very easy on the trail or track. These mods can be done for a very resonable price with A-arms and spacers for the rear. This is a GREAT bike! I just bought my son (s) one last Friday. They already have a Yamaha 60 that is about 15 years old but like new. This AC puts it to shame. They ride great with adjustable shocks. If you get one, you will notice that they seem a little sluggish at first. This is because of a spacer in the needle valve in the carb. After removing this, this machine has alot of power. The throttle can still be controlled with the screw on the handlebars. We also added a headlight. I suggest picking up a small headlight at AutoZone for about $10. We wired ours up to the circuit that powers the taililight (not the brakelight) so that it would not run the battery down.
Probably the best feature about this bike is the way the footrests are built. They are solid therefore keeping the kids feet from touching the ground.

After removing the restrictor in the carb if it still is not fast enough you can remove the spacer in the primary clutch. This is good enough to get 32-33 mph out of it. If that is still not enough there is a big bore 110cc kit out there, as well as many more add ons.

The engine mods are limitless for the 90; however, I will say that the "110 kit" does not exist. The AC has a 42mm stroke that you add to the 110kit's 53mm bore. That makes 92cc's. Stock, the AC is 82.5cc's.
Performance is gained by changing the port timing, adding a pipe, changing the reeds, replacing the air filter, and performing some trans mods.

60 mph on a 90 man that is fast! The shot wheel base and quick steering would make that a tricky ride. I heard about the 110 kit from my dealer and there was a link to some parts on this or another website can't remember.
Is it possible to convert the electric choke to a manual and if so where can I get the parts?
