Default Chain on AC 90

I just bought my son (s) a 2003 AC 90. Runs great! I noticed thought that there is no chain tensioner. Does anyone know if this model is supposed to have one. I have never seen a bike without it.

Thanks!

A chain tensioner as in an extra sprocket or roller?

No they are not supposed to have one. You adjust the chain by loosening rear axel carrier bolts and moving it to the rear by adjusting the adjusters.

Thanks for the help. The only other ATV of this size we have owned is a shaft drive. All of the others have had some kind of way to thighten the chain via third sprocket.

Thanks again!
