I own a 2003 400i Auto and have just over 3000 miles with no problems at all. Just change the oil(400 mile intervals), and clean the air filter and you will have miles of trouble free riding. I almost forgot check the valve adj. every 1000 miles for optimum performance.

 

my 2001 250 4x4 hit 50 on GPS, down tar, o yes, it wanted to BLOW UP, but it didnt, im sure an ac 500 could hit about 55, if you wind it out
