I put my lift on yesterday and with the shock on the 1st notch out of 5, the axles did not seem to be in much more of a bind than with no lift and the shock on the 5th notch. I plan to run it on the 1st notch to try to save the axles.

With the lift and 28s there is 17 inches of clearance under the lowest point of the bike with the shock on the 1st notch and 18+ inches on the 5th notch.

What setting were your shocks on when you broke the cv joint?

i had mine on the stiffest setting. maybe this will work for you. keep us posted.
