Default Tired of breaking stuff

I'm getting really tired of breaking rear drivetrain parts. It would be easier to go back to riding a Honda 450ES and get stuck a little more often. The Honda never broke down on me out on the trail. I really takes the fun out of it when your ride breaks down every time you go.

28X12.50 Outlaws rear
28X10.50 Vampire front

Same tires I've had on other rides to.

Look at the new comment on first ride = broken CV

I think it's the lift, not the tires. I wasn't giving it enough juice to break anything. I had my wife and 3yr old on the wheeler with me. We were just cruising around.

You modify the drivetrain with a lift that binds & breaks an axle, your blaming it on the bike?? Your Cat i model has 12" ground clearance compaired to Honda's 8 maybe? What do you need a lift for?? You could NEVER get that high on the Honda!

I busted my rear end with no lift, it does suck. I won't even touch my cat anymore, its only good for slow technical trails and water. Keep it stock or buy a P650 and slap on big tires and toast the 500i.

Well, I believe High Lifter screwed us on this one. The rear lift will not work on the rear on the "i". I don't think I will have anymore trouble now without the lift. And no, I wouldn't go back to a 450. It's just not in the same ballpark with a big IRS rig. I was just mad at the time I wrote that.

I love me some P Cat!!

That's funny as hell.

My wife gets mad at me because as soon as I come home from work I get a cold beer and go out to the garage to stroke the kitty.
