How is the Arctic Cat 400 4x4 compared to the wolverine? I know the price range is about the same, but how about speed, agility, etc. Also which one is gonna keep lasting for me. I want it to be something that isnt gonna keep costing me about $200 on parts every month if you know what i mean. Any information would be appreciated.

 

I have a AC400 4x4 and love it I have a friend with a wolverine the wolverine is a sportier bike, I think it comes down to your intended use. The rack carring capacity and the physical size is smaller. The wolverine is faster. The Ac in my opinion is more of a utility quad, I think if you were to run both bikes through the mud and rocks all the time that the AC would fair better. Havining said this both machines will stand up well. I just feel that the Ac is built a little heavier ie: frame racks full skid plate etc.

They don't really compare to tell the truth. Two different type quads. Wolverines compare better with Scramblers, and even then, the chain drive on the scrambler sets it aside still. There really is no other 4 stroke shaft driven quad like the wolverine. It kind of has its own class.
