The only steering problems I have is the tie-rod ends come loose at the spindles and the steering has a bout 2" of play in it. But never had any thing break.

I have a slight bend in a tie rod, but this is a result of slamming the right front tire into a washout at about 20mph which turned the quad around and just about flipped it. I think you will experience tie rod problems on any quad if you are hard enough on it. The problem that this guy has here is a manufacturer defect and thats the bottom line. That should definitely be brought to the dealer's attention.
