Default Polaris trail blazer 330 fan

I have an 06 Polaris trail blazer that the fan won't shut off. I recently replaced the battery and as soon as it was connected the fan started running. I started the atv and the heat light came on. It was on 20 degrees out when this happened so I know it wasn't hot. What would cause this light to come on and the fan to not shut off and continuously run. I disconnected the fan wire to stop it and not kill the battery?

Guess you mean the Trail Boss 330. Trail Blazer was the 250 for 2006.Common problem on this if the thermistor sensor on the oil cooler shorts out. Problem if it does, this part is NLA. Another is that this model has an ecm module that can do the same thing.Item #18.2006 Polaris TRAIL BOSS 330 (A06CA32AA) Electrical/Taillight /Ab | Cycle Parts Warehouse Before I chased a used part that's NLA new or bought an expensive ecm module I'd down load this cheap 5 buck manual that can help you trace down the problem.2006 Polaris Trail Boss 330 Service Manual PDF Download
