Default Tires and wheels

Stock on my '82 250r is 22x11x8. I want a little shorter tires and a little wider rim. So, do I want a 20x11x9? Or?

It depends the 8 or 9 refer to the diameter of the rim. If you just wanted a wider tire you would want a 20X12X8. Though I think you would have more luck finding it in a 9 or 10 inch rim. It seems most sport type tires arent available in the 8 inch it just isn't a popular size anymore. So if you are going to buy rims just look for a 9 or 10 and a tire in a 20x12x9/10 size. As for the width of the rim you want, with a 12 inch wide tire I would think that would have to be at least 9 ins. wide. Hope this helps.

The only size I found was a 20x11x10 w/rims for the rear. So, I ordered them. I guess 4/130 is hard to find. Should be ok?
