anyone ever fitted one of these fenders before? i just got one and it doesnt seem to fit right around the tank. any suggestions?

 

Hopefully you get a response. My fenders are suppose to be
here on Friday. I would like to know also.

 

Id send it back and look into an OEM piece. I recently purchased a rear fender from honda for my 86R. 220$ but the color and fit is perfect....too perfect it needs to get dirty. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

i agree about OEM, but i couldn't pass up the price.

 

Just got mine yesterday. It looks like swiss cheese under seat but made it fit OK. I will invest
in OEM next time. This plastic sucks.

 

yeah phantom, the little marks where you're supposed to drill your holes aren't quite in teh right place. had to move all the holes forward. it still presses toward the back when i click the seat/fender onto the frame. shiny new plastic doesn't match the front fender. oh well, it was only $60.
