I have an 85 honda 125m. i knew it had problems when i got it. It will run , but you have to pull start it, the problem is that it is blowing oil and smoke from the vent tube from the case. I thought maybe this had something to do with the rings? Can anyone help?

 

Maybe a little too much oil....but it sounds like back-pressure to me.

 

the oil was ok. but if it is back-pressure, what be causing the problem????

Just replace those rings, and get a good look at the piston and head...and you should be good.
