ATC 90 Questions
#1
Hi All
i just bought a atc 90 for my son from a friend. decent shape for 250 bux.
it needs a seat cover. any good sources out there?
also the guy i bought it from said he had another one that had been bored and stroked to 132 ccm. he said he got the parts from a place called "Big Al's" anyone heard of this place? he is looking to rebuild/restore the bike.
anyone know how to tell what year mine is? the guy thought it is a 78, but wasn't sure.
thanks

I think they used to put a sticker on the tube the steering fork goes through, if you look in front of the gas tank, back behind it there may be a sticker there with the year on it. Those old 90's have been around for a long time. My sons 2001 TRX 90 engine looks exactly like those old ATC 90 engines. Transmission is different though.

Forgot to mention, Dennis Kirk shows a seat cover for 74-78 atc 90 for $37.99. part no is 61-0722. if the foam is shot too you can get a complete seat for $77.99 part no 39-872.
dennis kirk phone # is 800-328-9280 or www.denniskirk.com

Big Al's was a old ATC performace store that made big bore kits, you can't find them any more unless you find it on ebay.
Does it have a headlight on it? The first 90 didn't have headlights and they were US90.
The frame id should be under the gas on the left side i think. You can also look at the vin numbers and it might tell you the year.
I'm planning on restoring a 73 US90 that I have.

the old 90's are cool... does urs have fiberglass or plastic rear fenders.... ballon tires or regular knobbies.. and that info can help determine the yr too....yes there should be a sticker in front of the gas tank mounted vertically that tells the yr...
