Default 250r Forks

If I have to rebuild these forks again.... blah, blah, blah. Anyone know of any neat tricks to either improve the front forks on the 250r/350x or fab different ones onto trikes? I have heard that the 350x forks are better than 250r, but I don't see why. I've seen cartridge forks from motorcycles converted, has anyone else? Just trying to start a good discussion.

Here's the one I found with 46mm inverted motorcycle forks. Len has the best trike I've seen yet.
