Default hi comp 200es...running hot?

thanks to knowsalot....started my 3 wheeler for the first time in 2 months today...(i was having trike withdrawal)ok, it ran ok, but man its not easy to start. i put an 11:1 weisco in it, think maybe i went too high, because it wouldnt start hot, and the plug was real light brown. i just put some reg pump gas in it...maybe i need 94 octane?- i cant pull this freakin thing over for nothin with my left hand, so i gotta get my starter workin, think maybe i need a new one and maybe someone has one layin around they could part with. it didnt break up when i was riding it, ran great and didnt smoke, so i dont think the mix is off. from my experience with cars, it looks like maybe the spark plug is overheating, but im sure someone knows better than i do..

Glad to see you got her going again!

You will be running at higher temps with that piston. Nothing critical though. You do need to be running 93 otane fuel with that ratio.
I would change to the better grade fuel before going any further in diagnosing.

As for the starter, I have one that's on an entire bottom end that I've had laying in the shop for a couple of years. I have no idea if it works or not. Send me a private message with your address and I'll get it out to you.
