Fork Conversion 81 ATC200
#1
Anyone know what year forks I could put on the 81 ATC200 so it wouldn't be a solid front end. Also anyone have the parts #'s for the bearings and seals for the front hub. Also looking for exhaust and a seat for this trike. Thanks

The following fron ends are a direct replacement for yours.....
1982-1983 ATC200E BigRed
1984 ATC200ES
1984-1985 ATC200M
1984-1986 ATC200S
1983 ATC200
1983 ATC185S
All of these will fit your 81 ATC200, however the 1983 ATC185S and 1984-1986 ATC200S will not allow you to stay with the 25" tires if you plan to stay with that size.
All of the Honda 3 wheelers except for the 70,90, and a few 110s have the same bearings in the front hub.
The bearing number is 6302 [15x42x13].............It can be found at nearly all of your local auto parts stores.

No problem.
The bearing number I gave you is a common bearing number used by all the manufacturers...ATV, automotivve, etc, et. It's an industry standard regarding the bearing numbers.
As for the forks, they would all do an equally good job. They have the same travel, so no advantage would be gained by picking one over the other......but if I had to lean towards one, I would go with one from the 200E or 200ES simply based on the fat that Maier still makes front fender replacements for these and not the 200M design.

Yes, No problem at all. They have the same bolt pattern.
You will however have to be sure that when you pick out a fork that you get the axle and hub with it. Yours will not work.
