I have an 84 YT 125 and it is runnly really bad. It was running bad before i put on a new throttle cable and now it wont even start. there is plenty of spark and gas is getting to the carb. It cant be the oil injector becuase that is blocked off. This has been giving me trouble since i got it. when it ts fixed i am going to sell it. PLEASE HELP.

 

Id clean out the carb, get a manual on the bike, and set the carb so its not lean or rich. then Id clean the spark plug, and before I put it in, Id check if theres compression, get a gauge, or just put your finger in the plug hole and see if theres compression, I'm not sure what the gauge should say, but it should be higher then ZERO, lol , then after that. throw in the spark plug, and make some one kick the bike slow , and try to get close to the bike, and see if you can hear any air leakin out of the plug seal, if that all good, put the spark cap on, and try to start it, if that dont work, get a shot gun, you got target pratice...lol

 

hi there it sounds like ur carb is outa adjustment. by the manual and that will help ya alot.

 

I have the manuel for the bike. and it has realy good compresion becuse i just rebuilt it a month ago. The spark plug is new. although i havent checked the gap on it. this couldnt help. I will pull the carb out and give it a good clean. maybe even chem dip it. This should help thanks for your input. hopefully i will get it running so i can sell it
