By asking about the 350x pipe, does that mean you bought one? In your earlier posts you were asking about them vs the 250r.

On your 350X, does the skid plate use some mounting brackets to attach it to the swing arm or does it bolt directly to the swing arm?

yes i bought a 85 350x and a 86 250r from some older guy they still look like new

it is some after market skid plate and it has brackets

If I remember correctly the swingarm has small brackets welded onto the bottom that the skidplate mounts to. They have a tendancy to get crushed out here due to the vast amounts of rocks....
