Hey, i have an 86 350X and i am in the market for a new air filter,i have a triple stge uni-filter, i think it stinks, i want to get a k&n, with the outerwear, if any one has that setup, how's the performance? Is there anything better? If there is, please let me know, i would appreciate it

 

If you choose a kn filter make sure u make the proper jetting changes. My friend bought a 250x from someone who just put a kn filter in the bike but did not change the jets. The bike was getting too much air and would bog down. Also the throttle response was also bad. He then put a uni filter bake in the bike and it runs great...

 

I went from uni to k&n and didnt notice a difference. So i dont think its worth it but if it makes you feel better go for it.
