Check to see how many bearings you have
left. It kinda depends how long you rode
it after the bearings went bad. If the
crank locked up chances are you will have
to get you crank turned down. I had good
luck with my trike after a rod kit but it
only threw a few bearings and I didnt
ride it long.

I stopped riding it as soon i started hearing the nocking noise from my crank. I was just wondering why the honda shop is feeding me this stuff about having to buy a new crank to. Do you know of anyone who makes the rod kit for the 1984 200es

Check Dennis Kirk i think they have a rod kit for your bike. Most cranks are rebuildable and an average crank kit cost around $75 plus the labor to install the new one. maybe your crank came apart and started rubbing on the inside crank walls and made one side uneven. This just happened to my 87 banshee the crank came apart on one side so i am just replacing the complete crank and rods and use the othere one for a paper weight or something. If dennis kirk does not have one try eastcoastatv.com they might have one or can get you one

The honda shop is gonna try to milk you for all that you have. The honda shop told me that they didnt make an aftermarket rod kit for the ATC 350X. Well that was a lie because I found one made by VESRAH and it could be used on any honda 350 fourwheeler as well as a 350X. DENNIS KIRK didnt have any for my bike but they do have them for yours.
