replace the fork boots?
I HAVE REPLACED THEM BEFORE BUT ON MINE I HADE A BOLT ON THE BOTTOM THAT I TURNED WITH A PIPE WRENCH AND THAT THEN LOSENED THE LOWER END OF THE FORKS LOOK TO SEE IF YOU HAVE A BOLT ON BOTTOM THAT MIGHT SCREW OFF
