Default 84' Honda 250r

hey..jus found an ad in the paper for an 84' honda 250r. Says its gota blown piston and he wants 850(canadian) for it..How much is itworth?How much would it cost for a rebuild approx.?

I don't know what $850 is in American, but it seems like a lot. I wouldn't give more than $400-$500 US if its in good condition.

Rebuild kits are around $100 but will probably need a boring too. I think my last one was $40???

$641.33 USD as of today [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Check it out and see what shape it is in. If you shop for your parts carefully and get the mechine work done fairly cheep, I would say the trike is worth it (the rest of it being in good shape)

yeah thats what i would do talk him down..but my buddy bought a shee once out of the paper and the guy said the only thing gone was the top end..nothing about the bottom..turns out everything in the bottom end was practically toast..i jus dont want to fall into the sam trap he did[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]
