i broke 2 spanner wrenches and some visegrips trying to take the ring nuts off my axles so i could take the bearing out,what should i do now i'm all out of money and don't wanna ruin all my tools...any ideas?

 

buy another spanner wrench and turn them the other way,,,, axle nuts are left handed threads,,,,,

I also agree it's funny[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]:especially when i think back and see myself pulling on that wrench soooo hard that my face is red and the ring nuts are still not budging,but the way i look at it i learned the hard way but i'll never forget that atv axles are left hand thread after this experience,so tommorow when i go out to my shed i imagine i'll get another chuckle outta the pile of broken wrenches on my bench,if it weren't for these atc forums i think i would have broke many more wrenches trying to get those suckers off...lol

 

My old ****** had some left turning lug nuts. It's amazing how hard that can be to remember whenever I was changing the tires.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]
