350x Swingarm
#1
On my 350x the chain tensioner is broken in half and it is very hard to tighten the chain now (it was like that when i got it), and i was wondering if i bought a new swingarm carrier it would have a new tensioner on it? Also how much will a brand new carrier cost me? Oh another question, can i get a new inner air filter for it or would i have to go used (the metal screening inside the actual air filter)? Thanks.

Hey, what is the website for that carrier you got? And also can i just forget about buying one of those stock metal screens that go inside of the airfilter if i get a K&N? Oh yeah, what kind of exhaust are you running on your 350 (mine is gonna get replaced sometime this summer)?

Is the stock one better than a after market carrier? Also, i can use the spanner wrench that came with it to tighten the chain quite easily but there is something missing in it that makes the chain go loose after not riding very long or its stretching the **** out of my chain.

most of the time a aftermarket is pretty darn good, usuall made lighter than the stock one. Adjust your chain, then make with a marker a line on the carrier and one on the swingarm. I bet your carrier is just rotating back. Then just tighten the pinch bolts tighter or clean the surfaces where they meet. If that does not work you may need to file down between the pinch bolts to get a tighter fit. I try everything I can to make it safe as cheap as possible before I spend $200.
