'83 honda 300r

i need to know if anyone out there has a 300 big bore kit on their 81-84 250r. what the benefits and disadvantages i am thinin about buying one

I can only offer......no replacement for displacement!

I have been told (although i do not know from eperiance) that the 300 kits do produce more power, but they also produce alot more heat beacuse the cylinder walls are so much thinner.
