Does anyone still make the old-school mesh front number plates for three wheelers? I have been looking for some for a long time. Obviously, I haven't found squat. I would like to have one for a possible custom Tri-Z down the road (preferably a yellow frame with a black screen).

 

Have you checked Maier? I dont have anything books around but they might ( slim chance ) make one.

 

I've already searched Maier's inventory, and they only make a flat, white number plate that is near the size I am looking for. What I really had in mind was one of these.

 

You have to keep checking Ebay. Noone makes them anymore. The last three that I saw went like this. First one sold for $10, I bought the second for $35 and the third went for $72. They show up from time to time, but they are hard to find. You can post a message on 3ww and see if anyone is willing to sell one.

 

How much you looking to spend? I got a mint one that came off my Tri Z. Its yellow with white mesh. Ive had offers up to $50 for it, but kinda hesitant about selling it for fear I might want it someday. Like you said, ya cant find em anymore, and much less in any kind of decent condition.
