Default Squeaking Noise??

Ever since i've had my 350x i have always noticed a squeaking noise when i compress the back suspension. Could this be the swingarm bolt being too tight, or could it be something squeaking in the shock linkage? Its gettin really annoying and i can't seem to find what it is. Thx.

Have you tried greasing all the fittings on the rear linkage.

Are you sure the 350x has grease fittings?? Because i just looked the whole back end over and did not find a single one. Are they supposed to have them?

I am not sure about the X. I know my 85 R and my banshee have them.

No they dont come with grease fitting in the swingarm. But if you take the swingarm off, you can put a grease fitting in the middle of the swingarm (where the bolt goes). The honda dealer did it for me when I had my bearings replaced. Good luck!!

it might be your top bolt that connects with your frame on your rear supension my 350x was making the same noise i removed the top bolt and i filled the bolt with grease around it and i swaped it back in and the noise stopped but dont tighten it too hard. do that i recommend you. it worked for me and if it still makes it do the same to the bottom ones.

peace...
