Default 200s engine in a 200x??? will it work

ok i have had a 200s engine in my garge for a couple years now i came across a 200x with a frozen engine and i wanted to know if anyone has done it the mounting bolt look the same but i am curious about the wiring/cdi will the cdi/wiring from the 200x work with the 200s engine. i know i could just rebuild it but i am trying to get my wife into riding and i think the 200s's automatic tranny would work alot better for her

Yep it will bolt right in, you need to use the 200x exhuast, intake manifold, I used the 200s electrics, but I'm fairly sure the 200x stuff will work. You will need to rig up a rear brake pedal since the 200x mounts on the motor, or use a left hand master for the rear brake.

The stator coil wiring is different. It can be spliced to work or you can install an x stator in the s engine.
