axle bearings

Imagine that, THERE JUNK AGAIN!!!!!!! @%#^$&@$@*#*@%!^#&&#*&@%! This time I am pulling all the strings......
New bearings and seals
Drilling and tapping a 1/4" greese fitting in the axle housing
Drilling some holes in the bearing spacer
And lubing the hell out of it every ride!
WHAT???? did honda not think greese worked 20 years ago or what??????

This is the second time and I have owned it since October 03.....I ride in a crapload of water and mud, but the "sealed bearings" are saposed to be good for that...BULL , So I am going to go the old fasioned way and add greese to it once in awhile!

yeah, those sealed bearings suck...i have some of them up front on the front axle, and i do alot of water, mud riding and there cooked...replaced them last year, and there gone this year[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

try pryn the seals out of the bearings, packin them with some good grease and then run them. i've been doin this on my stuff when i replace the bearings and it seems to be working soo far.. i guess time will tell. i ride in water and mud alot so it will test them.
