Today, i went out riding with my buddy, and hes got a 1985ish honda 250r dirtbike..its a 4 stroke...i duno why the 'r' is there..but pretty quick bike...tops at about 120-130..its one of those off/on road bikes...so, we had a little drag race down this back asphalut road...from take off till i ran outta gears..i was about 2 lenghts ahead of him....the recent rebuild is really paying off...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]..just my little story[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

gmmm well my 200M which soons needs to be rebuilt because compression is being lsot immensely by the lack of gasket since it's almsot completely blown, and motor mounts being cracked, I still managed to take off past a 150F pretty quick little bike but nothing extreme, I managed to keep ahead of it for quite some time untill he slowly inched by me, if it was a drag strip it'd be over definately. He even told me afterwards "damn I never knew your bike was that fast"

In the winter me and a Yamaha Bravo were dragging on pretty well packed snow, neither of us were giving it to her really but dragging none the less just having a bit of fun, so my buddy pinned her open as he went around a puddle so did I, I ended up passing him and cutting infront of him running over his ski and sending him out in the woods, kinda funny, luckily no damage cept the ski, but we quickly fixed that at his garage.

Most fun thing I ever did on the bike was I was doing a dough nut on some wet grass, than I popped up and landed on one wheel, while on one wheel I balanced a bit untill she landed on the other back wheel, kept a cat walk going, than I clicked her into second she went down and hit the ground, I pinned her open did another cat walk, than I slowed down and rode her one of the back wheels and my front wheel in a big circle. Fun Fun.

 

Just yesterday I got my DG pipe and installed it, today I worked on the jetting. Ended up with a 125 main and 50 pilot. I know it sounds low, but it ran the best and the spark plug was a semi dark tan color, so I went with it. (The guys at the local honda place said a 150!) Anyways I went out for another test run and ran into a guy on a Raptor. I'll admit, he said he mainly ran trails but was interested in dragging, and if I wanted to run. We went about 300 feet and he was about three lengths back. Afterwards he asked me how much I paid for the bike. I told him 400 dollars, and the look on his face was worth at least that!

i went out weekend before last with the big red, and did a hillclimb noone around has attempted..hehe...there really is no way anything but maybe a skidder could make it up this mountainside--its full of trees rocks and its so steep you have to hold on to trees to WALK down it---i made it about 3/4 way up, then rolled all the way down it. its about 1000 ft long, but luckily i grabbed onto some saplings and the three wheeler was slowed up a bit by the saplings on its trip down. you really know its rolling fast when it comes off the ground and rolls 2-3 times in the air before it touches the ground again. --but that thing is a tank--just bent the rack and the handlebars, pulverized the plastic a little more than it already was, and broke off the brake levers. no bent axles or fork.....a little work with a pipe and it was back in shape again--(brakes didnt work anyway) anyway, its nice to have a machine thats built like that..because my 450r would have been totalled haha..
