Default A couple 200x problems...

I bought a 200x, considering in very good condition, ran on the spot and everything seemed fine and dandy. But one thing he did tell me about when it first starts it has a very high idle, unusally high, but after it warms up it calms down to a nice idle like it should. Another odd thing is when i turn the choke on when warming up it goes higher like half way, than seems to drown out when i go all the way. Weird, he did say he had some aftermarket valves and i had to calm the jetting notch back to the factory specs "clymer book", because he had it all the way for some racing type deal. Another thing to is when i first change the oil for about up to the 2ed maybe 3rd run ill do, it doesnt have that high idle startup problem and just runs smooth all the way. Then the oil gets grayish kinda quick afterwerds. Then another weird thing is i can kickstart it fine in 2 kicks at the most when just starting it up, but after the engine warms up i have to open the throttle ALL the way and then kick it over to start, other than that it wont start any other way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

sounds like the fuel mixture is outta wack. my sx does the same thing, but i just ignore it. i don't feel like messing with it. there should be a pilot screw on the front of the carb., you may need to adjust it. refer to the owners manual or a repair manual for the correct adjustment. hope this helps.
