I have an 85 350X and the headlights are out. One of the bulbs is obviously bad, but the other does not look to be burnt. However I used an ohm meter to test it and it tested as being bad. I think my switch on the handlebar is not working properly either. I want to buy a couple of bulbs and test it but the bulbs are $24.00 /each on Bikebandit.com. Does anyone know where I can get them less expensively. If the handlebar switch is bad then i will be looking into adding some custom lights with a new switch. Has anybody added aftermarket lights to the factory housing or gone with something totally different? A little help is needed.

 

i have an 85 honda 200x kill switch on my 86 360x and works great just had to do alittle changes. and used my old original 350x light switch wires to make it work great. and its ok.

 

I have been looking on E-Bay and some other parts places and the light/kill switch is about $70. Not to mention having to buy two light bulbs puts me over $100. I can buy some Halogen 12v lights that will fit fairly cleanly in the stock location for about $40 and use a water proof rocker switch on top of the housing from Home Depot for $5.00 and get a universal kill switch for the handlebars for cheap also.

I may just make a mount and use some smaller round headlights and do something custom that would look similar to the old warrior lights.

 

Bulbs off a 400ex will work, just not as bright.
