why do u like trikes i love them because there more fun harder to ride and its not like a quad where everyone has one so why do u like them??

the skill required to ride them, the strange looks when you pass quads, and people seem to either say "he's crazy", or "wow,this guy really knows how to ride". I get real strange looks, especially how I ride mine, jumping 30-40-50 ft tabletops , being able to keep up with the more stock like bikes and the general shock from the new guys at the track when they see me passing poeple and jumping, whoops, etc like I do. The last time I was at chattsworth, 4 or 5 guys out of the whole place could keep up with me, it was a great victory for trikes.

1. They are 100+ pounds lighter than quads
2. Cheaper to find than most quads 3. Usually cheaper parts prices (the ones you can find![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]) 4. They "hey look....he's nuts" comments 5. AND the other trike rideres are always COOL/ They know what it is all about![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] |

1. A blast to ride
2. Very rare in comparision to the amount of quads around 3. You get all the strange looks 4. There aint nothing like gettin on a 20 year old trike and wasting a 2 year old Fourwheeler 5. Show me a Fourwheeler that gets around in the woods as well 6. I like to restore these machines as close to original as I can while keeping the price of them down so that people that never had a trike can have a chance to enjoy something that they have never had before. My 185s sets on the showroom and draws more attention than any other item that I have in this building. It reminds people where it all started and how much fun it was to have them. |

Memories for me, I've ridden 3wheelers since I was 5 and I'm 27 now. From a 70 all the way up to a 250R. I had a quad for 2yrs and recently had to sell it, I wanted to still ride something in the desert so I picked up a 350x. It took me about 10min to get used to again but after that I was like this is what I remember. The acceleration kills a quad. Probably not the 450's but it's still really peppy and 10% the price of a 450. I think more people are supprised when they see three wheelers is because they know they're old and can't see how they're still running. I don't even think honda predicted there bikes would last 20yrs. Kids in my family still ride my 22yr old 70. The motors never been taken apart just routine oil changes. Check out my families bikes Now that's honda loyalty, all the bikes are still running and people still ride them.

The 350x I just got isn't in that picture neither is my cousins and uncles 250R's or my old 200s. All still run fine. I'm going to take another pic of all the 3wheelers this thanksgiving. The 250sx, I bought for my gf, that is a PERFECT gf bike. Highly recommended, electric start, with kick start backup, reverse, automatic, and full suspension.

My first trike was a 250ES Big Red. I like to ride trikes because most people think they are "illeagal" plus there just a blast to ride.

I collect old atc's because they are hard to come by, and no i dont let any of them sit for more than a month. i ride them all!!! my favorite three things about them is that
3. people think that they are ilegal to even own!? so they think you are a rebel 2. you can ride wheelies forever and see where you are going 1. I am a mechanich so lets just say my 350x looks less than it runs (or sounds for that matter) and i have yet to meet ANY quad that can beat me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] |

I got my trike when i was 6yrs old it a 200s and i am planning on restoring it soon. Gotta post some pics! Ok first they are just a blast to ride, turns heads, people think that your crazy and it take skill to ride them. That's why i'm so good on quads. Overall i love mine and will never sell it. Guess what the other day this guy saw my trike and said that he will buy it off me for $100 i said "hell no" i started on this and love it, i could not believe he actully ask. Trike are sick and want to get another one.

I got my first trike when i was twelve years old and i got around to restoring it. Its a Bigred 250ES the reason i like trikes so much is i think there easier to ride than four wheelers. And no when u get a fourwheeler or suntim everyone wants to ride it well my friends always flip it so there scaired so i don't have to share when we go ridign LOL. And its so much fun riding when u have to lean alot and a four wheelers is like lazy riding...

i love trikes because i started riding them when i was 5 and still ride them while im 30. it takes a skill not to flip them to the front left or right. i ride quads too but it feels like your limited in performance as far as using your body weight to turn, or even pop the front end up when you need too. if you dont know what im talking about then you really havent been on a trike long. i have an 85R, 82R & an 87 shee. the shee and 82 are guest bikes & 85 is my baby

ahh my friend you have much to learn...
#1 Put a helmet on! there is no reason not to and a ton of reasons why you should. #2 All trikes do wheelies, and very redealy, that is one of the reasons people love them... just look at it in physics terms... two traction wheels with a powerfull drive motor, a light front end... all's you have to do is sit back and give her gas and the front end will pop up... on ANY trike...(i have done this on my ATC 110, 350x and 250r) if you dont know that then you dont know trikes |

Hmmm.... I would have to say that I love trikes cause the skill level required to ride one properly is a cut above the ordinary than a quad. My grandmother can ride a quad lol!!! I take my trikes riding and i get looks of admiration and lotz of offers to race but very seldom do i get hate issues or anything cause i am riding a trike... its really fun racing quads on a tight track lol!! Course I live in a small town and trikes used to be popular here. People I gew up with recognize the skill level required to ride one. My 15yr old daughter has hijacked my 250sx, the quads not fun enough for her anymore, so I guess I got to get busy and finish my 200x for me to ride now. she dont want nothing to do with her '03 polaris quad anymore lol!!! Wheelies do happen... me and my daughter drag all the time, me on the sx, her on the polaris trail blazer. I sit on the gas tank on the 250sx and its wheelie 1st, 2nd. settles down in third and by 4th gear the polaris is toast by 6-8 quad lengths.... If u draggin an not getting a wheelie on a tri u either r not hooking up, or u have an extended swingarm... I guess I going to heaven with a permenant impression of my gas cap on my butt lol!!!! I would have to say i love trikes because, They take skill and they are more of a challange than 4 wheeles i get tired of hearing people call trikes sh*tty just because they here there tippsy, and rolling is have the fun of riding, people go on what they here about 3 wheelers and havent never rode on in there lives. Not only are 3 wheelers more of a challange but they are a lot more fun that a quad. If some one offered me a brand new 4 wheeler, or a old trike, i would take the trike in a heart beat , call me crazy but i love the feeling of getting on a trike and wooping 4 wheelers as*es. Raced my friend on time hand a brand new 350 wolv. he got it broke in and he said he could smoke the 200x's as if it was sitting still so me and him got geared up helmet all the safty stuff, we had another guy say go. i took off in wheelie through 3rd gear and sat it down. wooped him didnt never talk bad about 3 wheelers again. but the point is trikes=PoWeR, FaSt, all motor,and lots of fun.

Oh man I love Trikes, it takes a lot more skill to ride them. I will always have a special place in my heart for them because that is what I grew up on since I was 5yrs. old. My dad used to have some old ATC, a 200x, and a ATC250R! Wish I could of got the R, but it got sold when I was younger. I will have one in my stable whenever I find a nice one for a fair price.

I love them because you can show up at a poker run that has 500-800 quads in the pits and before you can unload, you have half the people there coming over to look at the trikes. And when the 450r guys see the 85 r's you hear: Oh, we are in trouble at the drags!!

theyre better at cornering and to flip a U turn. my friend on his raptor he has to 3 point turn on a trail, and me just bust a U easily.

I think we can all relate to what everyone has previously posted about "why". Just the other day I stopped at our local honda shop to get some oil and just happened to have my trike in my truck this time. Just about everyone on staff came out to take a look and some made some offers for it. I've contemplated selling it for financial reasons but have held on for now. They're just simply awesome.

I remember the honda dealer in 84' when we picked up the R' that I now own. 250sx, 350x and the 250r's just waiting to be ridden. They all got my attention. I think I love the nostalgia affect the most. The stares, the 'what's that' from the kids who've never seen one. Just last weekend my son and I went out (he has an 85' ATC 70) and I thought it was the coolest thing when I let him lead on the trail. Now I know why my dad bought them - just too much fun! I am looking for an ATC250sx for my wife. She hates the kickstarter on my bike (nor does she care for the clutch a whole lot) - but she gets TONS of looks when she goes crusing down the beach at pismo.. There's something about scantily clad females on 250r's.. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] And I like beating bikes that cost 4x the cost of my R'.. Hehehe.. |

i ride quads and trikes i have 250r that i love and a 400ex that i love to i switched ouver cuz i couldnt find any parts for my trike but trikes take 100% more skill than a quad plus im way better on trikes than i am at qauds
