83-84 250R's look alot alike. If your is an 83 Canadian model I dont see why it would look like an 82 model. Not auguing the fact that there is one setting in your drive, its just really odd. I have seen model differeances between countries but never that dramatic. You might have something................

yeah, thats what it has boiled down to, canadians get the bikes later, and scammers dont know what they have
