TECATE QUESTION FOR ATCER'S
#1
WERE THE TECATES ANY POPULAR THAN THE ATC250R IN THE 80'S I MEAN I GOTTA SAY THE TECATE LOOKS REALLY NICE TOO AND SWEE TO RIDE, AND IS IT VERY HARD TO FIND PARTS FOR THOSE TECATES I MEAN CAUSE IF THEY WERE POPULAR YOU COULD OF FIND PARTS EVERYWHERE, SAME GOES TO THE YAMAHA TRI-Z 250.

Not that I, myself can recall. Even at the peak of the 85 trikes, the 250r was the standout. The Tecate and TRI-Z were nice trikes but they are more rare to find than the 250. I wouldn't mind getting ahold of a mint Tecate. MOney is tight right now and my 250 might see ebay. Yea, wish I had a Tecate 4 badly. Tecate 4's were made between 1987 and 1988. Govt got a hold of them cause people were gettin hurt. Tecate's were very very fast. Yamaha had the ***** to keep on buildin the Banshee and look how good they did. Imagine what the Tecate would be like if Kawi kept makin them. I heard that the V-Force was originally gonna be called the Tecate. That would have been awesome. If you can find a Tecate. YER LUCKY!!! Thats my next goal in life is to find a nice Tecate 4. If you got one of them, yer KING!! Don't know much about the 3 wheelers. don't really like them. too dangerous. of course, i've never ridden one except the ones we work on. Doesnt feel right, hahaha. I'll stick to four. haha.
