Now, that is a bit different. The other day, we were talking about cylinder heads.

For starters, NEVER run your old piston with a different cylinder.

What you want to look for is a cylinder that has a few bores left on it and after you get it, go ahead and buy your piston kit, and bore the cylinder accordingly.

The motorcycle cylinders have a standard bore that is .50mm larger than the ATC versions, but can be used. All but the '84-'85 XR200R will work.

Any ATC200 series cylinder except for the '86-'87200X will work.

Any ATC185 series cylinder will work but require alot of boring to get you up to your current displacement....or you can go with a 185 series piston and have a lot left for future bore jobs.

So....there is plenty of engines to choose from. Just don't rush and buy a piston kit until you have found your cylinder and made sure that it is within a "borable" limit.
Good Luck
