I was tempted lol, but i resisted ...
I had this thing down to frame before and it was running good before she was apart, but now its all back together, everything tight, electical i re did, (broken wires to headlight and kill switch, nothing big) nothing shorting out, carb tight, .....
So i start it up, it wont go over 1/4 rev even at full throttle, so keep on the gas for about 10 seconds maybe 15, and it will then rev up to full and it will rev fine after that.
After about 5 seconds after it will rev again it just stops and wont fire again. I checked made sure it had spark after that, great spark. Im thinking carb, but i dont know what could be wrong with it.
Need some suggestions.

I suggest you keep the K.I.S.S. model in mind here. Slowly, and with a fresh mind, retrace only things that you touched since it was running good. If you didn't get into the motor or carb during this tear down and rebuild, don't look for your problem there. At least not until you've been over everything you did touch, carefully. If possible, have someone else who knows about it, check it over. You being the one who built it can overlook something simple assuming it's right......because it must be right, after all, you did it. I bet it's going to be something fairly minor, and simple.
I could be wrong, but I've taken enough things apart and put them back together to learn a few things about what bites you in the end.
Good luck, RTJas

hello, is this the carb with the internal choke? if so it sounds as if your choke is still part way on, after you rev it up and then let off the gas it sounds like it is flooding out, then you leave it sit over night and the gas evaporates and it will start again, good luck tom.
