Check out www.ftzracing.com
They ported my motor and did a great job at a reasonable price. They gutted the cylinder for $250. They also make stroker motors, 400cc pilot/250R combinations, alcohol motors, CR250/TRX conversions, etc. They give good service at a reasonable price. They do it all. Trinity, Duncan Racing, CT are all too expensive in my book.
List what you have and I'll give you some ideas. Is your bike stock? How much do you want to spend? What kind of riding do you do? etc.
I've been riding ATC250R's for 15 years (had an 84 and an 86 Factory Honda and currently own an 85 and an 86). My friends and I have tried a lot of motor shops and different setups.
86 ATC250R FTZ Ported, Decked to .050, Polished Exhaust,K&N, 38mm Mikuni over to 39mm on alcohol, Boyessen Rad Valve with carbon fiber reeds, 16cc dyno head, 89 Pro-series "long rod" with 4mm spacer plate, 86 style .050 Pro-X piston, Paul Turner Hi-Rev pipe, PVL digital ignition (no flywheel). Veshra clutch w/ heavy duty springs.
85 ATC250R (my woods bike) K&N, 39PWK, boyessen reeds, reed spacer plate, .120 over Wiseco Pro-lite, MT ports, polish and decked, milled head (lots of compression), DG pipe.
