How do i adjust the cam tensionner i dont have a manual or repair guide so can anyone help me out. i think the cam needs adjustmeant makes a little shhhh type of niose.

 

i am really sorry to post in your thread with out the answer to your question, but i wanted to know how much you wanted for that 200x box and lid, and maby a list of other stuff you have for the X. thank you very much.

on the backside of the engine there is a tensioner that is automatic. If you want you can try to readjust it more by removing the outside screw and inside take a SMALL flathead screwdriver and tighten it up. Youll feel it. Then turn it backwards til it releases. Youll feel it also. Like I said the tensioner is auto, and if your bike is stock it probally needs a new cam chain. The 350x was bad for timing chains slipping off and ruining that expensive head. Be careful.

 

well my 350x runs solid, but i trip out because the 350x makes a shhhhhhhh noise even when i rev it up even in idle you can hear it, but i dont hear any serious top end problems. like knocks orslapping noises.
