This is the three wheeler forum so I assume you are talking about trikes. I have beat plenty of banshee's on my trike but nothing over 75 yards. I just got finished racing on the beach today and needless to say I sent some yama owners home crying.

 

A 250R 3 wheeler is faster then a banshee. The 4 wheeler is slower then a banshee. A few tricks and a pipe will match a banshee for the 4 wheeled version.

 

I love to argue on this topic but the simple fact is that the old trike can and will beat a banshee in a drag.

 

the atc 250r will take a banahee not bad but it pulles away in the low end and its about even on top

Way to go man! You probably just got that to find out for sure which is faster...the LT or the ATC. So, lets start arguing...it's the ATC isn't it? Oh, I'm warning you now, so you'll be there. We'll be in Michigan in June again this year (provided that they don't ban ATV's from Silver Lake too.)


We're getting ready for ice racing in New York this winter. It's getting cold and soon the 900RR will be parked and the ATC's will be hitting the ice. I'm getting a fresh rebuild and a couple new mods on the alcohol motor (89 clutch upgrade kit and lightened counterbalancer).

Did you get my scan of the 86 ATC title that confirms the HP and weight of the 250R?

For everyone else, yes a stock ATC250R beats the banshee slightly in the drag. Mod for mod (except when you start grafting other motors onto the banshee bottom end) the ATC wins.

 

Yeah which is faster the zilla or the ATC? Zilla's are pretty rare where i am at so I wouldnt know. And whats the going price for a zilla in good shape?

 

I dont agree, I have yet to be beat by a built(mod for mod) ATC 250 R. Even took out a built Tecate 3.
