Messuring bore size???

Can I just remove the head and messure the I.D. of the cylinder bore to get a fairly acurate idea of what size engine I have?

Cool, Will a stock head gasket work with a cool head. I'm running out right now to pickup a compression tester.

i wouldnt take the head off just get it running good. if you do have a 295 & are getting spanked buy 250's you wont feel so bad if you dont know[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
