Default 250R pipes

OK people. I need some input. I have a 85 250R and need a new pipe. What pipes are you running on your 250R's and why? I know Paul Turner makes a good one as well as ESR, but would like to get some feedback about them or others.
Thanks

I am running a Paul Turner midrange pipe on my 85 and it works excellent but falls out when i shift from 5th-6th gear.....I ride mostly tight trails anyways so the mid range for me works great....Chris

I only ride in the dunes so I need something more on the top end side. I'm always on it. The quickest way to get from one place to another is FULL THROTTLE!

I have a Paul turner Hi-Rev pipe, and it rips mid to top end! It is good on the bottom end, but from half to Wide open throttle its pure and true! If your going to be in the dunes then I would recommend the Hi Rev pipe from Paul Turner!

Have no complaints about my FMF fatty. I have had a DG and a Paul Turner and don't feel either one of those compares to the FMF. Nice gains through all ranges.

I am not sure what type of pipe I have. It has no markings and was on the trike when I bought it. Can anyone tell me what it might be. Pics are in profile.

I have FMF fatty pipe, on my 86 and it was on my big bore 85 and it sucked! I went with Paul Turner Hi Rev and it is awesome on my big bore. It woke the bike up and has helped me get better starts and really pulls thru the mid range and on top its smokes almost all the pipes and especially the FMF. I put that on my stock 86 and got very little gains even after re jetting. Esr would be my second choice because they only make the low to mid pipe for the ATC. I just ordered a new Pro x topend kit from them with mid to top porting. I heard that they pack the most punch for the buck, we'll see!

I ride a trx, but my FMF gold series was incredible on the low end. It was not the best built pipe though, as no matter what I did it never sealed up to my exhaust flange correctly and it always made a mess of my motor. I bought a CT midrange pipe (not sure if they make em for the ATC) with an ESR silencer and it really woke it up in the mid and top ends.

JkAss, I don't know if this is still a relevant topic for you (In light of recent events, my heart still bleeds!), but I have a Paul Turner pipe, love it and recommend it! Mine happens to be a High-Rev. I run a CT 310 kit and found that my problem is not the high rev portion as it is pulling the low end of a hill shift. I think for my set up and dune riding/hill racing, (and I have played with all possible combinations of gearing) found I would re-opt for the low-end pull of a pipe. Especially based on the fact that once you get a two stroke in close proximity of the power band she will handle the rest from there as long as you hold the gas on.
