Hi
I have just purchased a honda 3 wheeler. I have no idea which model or year it is. It has no battery, no elec start, no reverse but has a 5 speed tranny and a 200cc motor. I have a problem with gas leaking as soon as the gas is turned on. It leaks out of the bottom of the carb (which i am told is the overflow) and out of the bottom of the airbox. I took the carb out and took the fuel bowl off and checked if the float was stuck and it was not. Then i left it soaking in gas overnight. What do i have to do to stop the gas from leaking? Another question i have is the hose coming out of the top of the bottom end of the engine that splits off into 2 hoses and they aren't connected and i have no idea where they go. The float needle spounds like it is shot. Get a rebuild kit for it. Should be around $12 at a local motorcycle shop. Did you check if the floats have fuel in them? Can you post a couple pics of your trike, it will be eisier to give you advise (if you have other questions) if you know what it is. Congrats on the new trike!

Yes.... a carb rebuilt kit it will come with a new float needle. does your 200cc have a pull cord for starting? what is the color sceme of the bike?

 

sorry I missed this part of your question...........................they are breather tubes....one goes on a hose barb on the top of the tranny(Short piece) , one end goes up by the air box (doesnt get attached to anything) and the other ... tuck down the back of the engine towart the swingarm (sometimes there is a metal loop on the swingarm you tuck it in)

 

Yes it has a pull cord for starting and it was red until the previous owner painted it beige.

 

LOL, all of them were red! is there any parts that were black, white ect.

are the front forks solid, or are they shocks?
Does it have suspention in the rear, or is it solid?

 

OH yea.......does it have drum brakes or disc?

 

front forks are shocks, no suspension in rear, and the frame is black and the side of the engine where it says HONDA is black.

 

i am not sure what kind of brakes it has because they are covered but the back brake has some sort of tube kinda like a fuel line but not connected to anything coming out of it and the front is just a silver case around the brake system but it might be disc.
