OK, people please chime in. I'm getting my engine back from the shop and I'm going to get a new pipe. Paul Turner Hi Rev Pipe vs. ESR ATC 5 Pipe. Which works better overall? I ride only in Sand. I like to run Drags and the Hill a few times, but I mostly do dune riding.

I think any of those would work fine, but tell us about what the engine is going to be when you get it back (stock, mods, etc.).

 

It is now about a 283cc, compression is 215 psi. I am running a 13/39 sprocket setup. It has a V-Force 3 cage and reeds. A funky FMF pipe,that someone made fit. A 38mm keihin carb. I think I am going to go with the ESR ATC5. The price is pretty good compared to the others. And from what I've read so far it seems that it is a personal preference thing. They all seem to work good.

 

Is anyone running an ESR ATC 5 pipe?

 

you better call ESR and see if they even will make it anymore

 

They show it on their web site, but that is a good idea to call and verify if they still make it.
