Oh Young Grasshopper Lawnboy. You have much to learn about ATV's/ATC's. Don't get discouraged by some critisim. We get and give it around here. That is how we all learn from eachother. Some know more than others. Keep an open mind. Alot of us have been dunning many more years than you have been around. All types of terrain are hard on an ATC or ATV, that is why we ride them they are durable and can take the punishment we deal out on them. Other than SALTWATER, in my opinion there is not one worse than the other if you properly maintain your bike. You have had some good post here. Keep plugging away helping people and learning from people.
