Default 200s flywheel question

I have the honda manual and it stated the torque, but it is vague at best when it explains things. Will you feel any sort of a POP or feel that it has secured its self into the position when putting it back on. Does it feel like you are tightening any other bolt? (ie. no POP indicating that the flywheel is on and in the correct spot) All I need is your experienced perspective on this.

if it is a keyed fly wheel the fly wheel nut just keeps it from flying off it should sit on the shaft in postion corrctly with no nut on it , i usually but a small drop of lock tite on the threads and tighten it up but not torque it down a whole lot just nice and tight hope it helps jonnyneutron

Default 200s flywheel question

Thank you very much. I was just hung up because a person needs a puller to get it off but nothing special to get it back on. Seems odd. Now I should be up and running.

you can buy a puller for 10-15 dollar or buy a M14 X 1.5 X 50 bolt the bolt works just as good for a dollar or two. then just pop it a few times with a impact gun

Default 200s flywheel question

I ordered a puller thru a shop but they messed up and got me the puller for the 200es. I ended up just having them pop it off. It takes one thing to be threaded on the inside of the flywheel and then a bolt gets threaded down to push the puller off. Not sure what other methods may work.

no it slides on
use lock tight on threds when installing
a puller is like 10.00
the crank is tapered so it slides up on the crank over a woodruff key until it is seated fully
