I am new to the forum,just found it.Does anyone know where I can find a axle for my 87 200x.It is the same for the 86 or 87 I was told.I have been looking on e-bay for a couple months and saw 1 axle that was supposed to be 86.Bought that axle and swingarm and it looks like it is for a 83-85.Any info would be appreciated

87-86 200x's are almost identical. There are only a few differences. Like yours has a key, your swing arm should be red.

the 83-85 200x's are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!!! Almost nothing will change over from those years to yours. you will need an 86-87 200x axle and you will be good to go. The only bad thing about that is that I need one too LOL!!! I missed a rusty lookin one for 25 dollars. I bet with some scrubbin the rust would have came right off.

 

Yeah mine has the red swingarm.I would like to find a axle because it runs like a top.My bearings went bad and the guy I bought it from had welded the hubs to the axle.So I had to grind them off to remove my axle and that was over a year ago.I don't care if it is a rusty one I will shine it up and paint it black

 

well you could for now tack them back on if you havent already or you didnt have to cut the hub all up to where its non usuable. After that just keep an eye open for an axle thats what I did I welded about 3/4 of the way around so i know where the hub stops and the axle ends.
