Can any tell me how to correctly and exactly how to adjust the valves on my 85 350 X . I have good mechanical experience on cars but not my ATC . So I can figure it out with instructions

 

nice, i think i can help you on this one. just went out to the garage and got my service manual. remove valve adjuster covers, align T mark on generator rotor w/the index mark on theleft crankcase cover. the piston must be at TDC w/both rocker arms loose. adjust by loosening the lock nut & turning the adjusting screw until there is a slight drag on the feeler gauge. feeler guage thickness should be .003 ,hold adjusting screw & tighten the lock nut. torque to 11-13 ft-lb. then recheck. hope this helps. karl
