Default What kind of trike was this?

I had this trike when I was growing up. It was a 350 or a 340(I think) and it was the weirdest name I ever heard of for a name brand. I think it was something like husqvarna but I dont thinks thats it, I think it might of started with S. Sasquach or something? It had a lever down buy the floorboard that was forward reverse nuetral. YES REVERSE? It had twist throttle it was something like a polaris would be, just gas and go. It was black, it had a rack on the back. it was a pretty beefy machine. Anyway I was young like 10 maybe and my dad used to wheel and deal all kinds of stuff on the farm and some how we aquired this machine. So I would try to ride it, me and my brother he was 11 or so and we used to flip it up on the racks all the time and fall off and my dad was scared we would get hurt and we werent really aloud to ride it much. Then itgot stolen along with a fourtrax 250 and the neighbors truck.....lol...and that was the end of them. Thats what I can remember. I was just wandering if someone would know what it was cause I just wanted to read up on it and reminisse a little.

It would of been around 1985 whaen they were stolen so Id say we got this trike around 83-85 and it seemed rather new- newer?

The Polaris Scrambler 3Wheeler was a 244cc 2 stroke. It featured a belt driven variable automatic transmission with reverse, much like todays Polaris's. It weighed 380lbs and Sold for $1,968.00 American new. It also got to a amazing speed of 45mph!

First I just wanted to say thanks to all that replied. The info is very helpful.

OK when I first looked at theose pictures I thought that was it, then the more I looked at it, it didnt seem right. Its not the one. The key was on the side and the light was like a tractor light. Also I think it had like a 3 tone orange pinstriping and decal and the back tires on it were bigger than the ones on that scrambler picture. It didnt look sporty at all. Just wanted to add a little and see what we could come up with..................
